Randolph Craftsman

The couple in this Craftsman house wanted to be able to remain there as they aged, so a first floor bedroom and bathroom were added. Universal design features include wide, aligned doorways, curb-less shower, and provisions for future grab bars and ramps. A glass door between the existing dining room and new room allows for the expansion of the living space until an accessible bedroom is needed. Both inside and out, the new construction matches the details of the older home, creating an integrated design that doesn't look at all like an addition.
