Light & Space

When adding to a house, sometimes what is needed is not additional square-footage, but rather natural light and open space.

Dormers can expand a low ceiling, and open up possibilities for larger, brighter rooms with interesting ceiling and wall lines. Roof angles and exposed structure can give great variety to space and give the sunlight various surfaces to bounce off of.

By removing the wall between rooms that are too separate, the public realm of the house can become brighter and more welcoming.
